Bullying and Harassment

The aim of the course is to raise awareness, explore how it impacts the workplace and empower you to understand and promote a culture of zero-tolerance towards Bullying & Harassment. There is increasing awareness of the effect bullying and harassment can have on individual, team and organisational welfare. Bullying and harassment means any unwanted behaviour that makes someone feel intimidated or degraded or humiliated or offended. It is not necessarily always obvious or apparent to others, so it can happen in the workplace without an employer's awareness. An introduction to the subject of bullying within the workplace, it will enable delegates to understand the fundamentals of workplace bullying and harassment and to explore and discuss good practice in preventing or dealing with them within the workplace.

  • What impact Bullying & Harassment has on the workplace
  • Differences between firm/fair management and Bullying & Harassment
  • Dealing with complaints using company procedures
  • How to intervene to stop it

 

Course Activities

Work through various practical scenarios to give you the opportunity to practise your skills in dealing with bullying and harassment scenarios.
