Managing Director
Alex is responsible for all aspects of the business in particular finance and contracts, he works closely with each of the department heads to ensure the smooth running, growth and profitability of the business.
Alex set-up Rewards Training Scotland in 1997 after a short career as a professional rugby player and previously having worked as a development officer for the Scottish Rugby Union (SRU).
Training and HR Specialist
Lorraine delivers a wide variety of training, including open courses and bespoke training in HR and Management topics. She also delivers longer duration programmes that are designed and delivered around the specific requirements of various organisations.
Lorraine has designed and delivered ILM programmes at Award and Certificate level for a number of years. Lorraine has over 25 years experience in the HR and training field, and is a member of the CIPD. Lorraine’s style of delivery is interactive and engaging with excellent feedback.
Training Manager
Louise joined the team as an Assessor/Verifier and later became the Training Manager. Louise is responsible for the work-based learning team across Edinburgh and Glasgow. As Head of Centre for SQA, Louise is responsible for quality assurance for the awarding body and the funding bodies that we work in partnership with.
Previously, Louise mainly worked in HR and People Development Management roles. Louise is a member of the CIPD and has completed her ILM Level 3 and 5 in Coaching and ILM Level 4 in Leadership & Management.
General Manager
Sharon first joined the team at Rewards as a Business Development Consultant in our Glasgow office. Sharon then became the Business Manager working with the sales, training and administration teams.
Sharon graduated from the University of Paisley with a BSC (Hons) and has previously worked in various sectors within operational management and business development roles, covering Scotland and the North of England.
Care Manager
Denise joined our team as an Assessor/Verifier and then became the Care Manager at Rewards in August 2015. Denise qualified as an Assessor in 2004 and qualified as an Internal Verifier in 2007.
Denise previously worked as a Care Assistant in a Residential Unit assisting residents with severe dementia. She then went onto work as an Assistant Manager in a Day Care Centre and then became an Assistant Manager in a hostel for Homeless Women.
Admin Manager
Leanne joined Rewards in 2018 bringing years of experience in assessing and verifying. Leanne now manages our admin team and oversees the administration duties relating to our Modern Apprenticeships.
Business Development Team Leader
Amanda joined Rewards Training in May 2024, she has previous experience of working within the Employability Sector, Business Advisory Support and Care Management. Throughout her career she has managed successful teams and helped to support people to overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
Amanda is passionate about helping people and giving them the tools to thrive.
Amanda has a BA (Hons) In Contemporary Art and another BA (Hons) in Psychology.
Management Trainer
Elaine joined the Team in August 2023, she will be delivering a wide range of open course and bespoke training.
She has a wealth of Management experience gained mainly in the Financial Service Sector.
Elaine has experience in project management, achieving Prince 2 in Foundation and Practitioner, as well as a yellow belt in six sigma.
The last few years has seen Elaine work with Foundation and Modern Apprentices as an SQA Assessor/Verifier, covering various qualifications, including: Management, Customer Service, Financial Services and Business and Administration.
Business Development Consultant
Sean joined the team at Rewards in 2016 as a Business Development Consultant in the Glasgow office. Sean graduated from University of the West of Scotland with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Sean has previously worked for an electrical containment company as a Business Development Executive, between Customer Service based roles.

Rachel joined the Glasgow sales team in 2023.
She gained a HNC in Early Education and Childcare and went on to graduate from University of Strathclyde with a BEd. (Hons) in Primary Education and then a Postgraduate Certificate in Philosophy with Children. Rachel worked as an Early Years Teacher for ten years supporting children and staff across many different Early Years settings before moving into Modern Apprenticeship Recruitment for the childcare sector and supporting young people with employability skills.

Donna joined the team in 2024 as a Business Development Consultant. After many years of experience as a hospitality manager and trainer, Donna transitioned into the employability sector, where she dedicated herself to helping individuals overcome barriers and achieve their career goals. Donna is deeply passionate about empowering people to reach their full potential, and she strives to create opportunities for growth and success
Training & Marketing Coordinator
Piera joined our team in 2021 as one of our own Modern Apprentices. Piera has now completed her Business Administration Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship and has progressed into the role of Training & Marketing Coordinator. Piera oversees all marketing responsibilities, assists with our ECITB course bookings and administration, as well as supports the team for any administration needs.

Thomas joined the admin team at Rewards in May 2023, with years of experience working in training companies. Thomas assists with the administration duties relating to our Modern Apprenticeships.
Assessor/Verifier/SQA Coordinator
Shirley has been working at a senior level in the sector for many years. She has extensive assessment and verification experience across a variety of qualifications, and managing VQ programmes across Scotland. Shirley is also the Rewards Training SQA Co-ordinator.

Ricky has been delivering apprenticeships since 2000 and has extensive assessment and verification experience across a variety of qualifications and sectors. Ricky has a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and has been with Rewards Training for over two years.
Social Services and Healthcare Assessor/Verifier
Ronnie joined the team at Rewards in 2015. Ronnie began her career in care as a Registered General Nurse and then worked as a Staff Nurse from 1992. Ronnie then went onto work as a Home Care Manager, where she gained a NEBS First Line Management qualification. In 2004, Ronnie then began work as an Adult Care Assessor and gained her Assessor and Verifier awards.
Social Services and Healthcare Assessor/Verifier
Lynne has over 31 years experience in Health and Social Care in Learning Disabilities, Care of Elderly, General Medical, Endoscopy and Custodial Care.
Lynne joined the team at Rewards in 2010 as an assessor and achieved her Verifier Award in 2011. Lynne has completed her ILM Level 3 in First Line Management which she completed in 2008.
Social Services and Healthcare Assessor/Verifier
Margaret Mary joined Rewards Training in 2015. She has been a assesing Health and Social Care since 2012 and became an Internal Verifier in 2015.
She has a BA (2.1 Hons) in Social Sciences and Postgraduate Diploma in Health and Social Care. Margaret Mary has worked on frontline services in Health and Social Care with both Adults and Children. She has 3 years’ experience of being a Health and Social Care Tutor at a College where she gained her Level 3 in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
Assessor
Ben Joined the team in 2022. Ben has 11 years’ experience in health and social care with both children and adults. Ben managed care homes for a few years then went on to become a training manager. He has now joined us as a full-time assessor.
