This course is for non-lawyers and will not focus on legal process and provisions, instead focusing more on the practical ‘How to’ of Employment Law, including an understanding of required workplace procedures and your obligations as a manager or business owner.
 
By the end of this workshop participants will have:
  • Easily follow Employment Law procedures
  • Manage Performance, Absence and Misconduct
  • Deal with Grievances, Bullying and Discrimination
  • Dismiss, where necessary, safely and with confidence
  • Avoid Employment Tribunals
 
This course provides delegates with a good grounding in essential Employment Law issues, giving you the knowledge and confidence to deal with them effectively. That means ‘nipping it in the bud’ or, where necessary, running formal hearings in line with ACAS Codes of Practice. The aim is to make the complex become very easy to understand and implement, providing clarity, fairness and consistency of action.
